Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves cast metal gods; I am the Lord your God.

Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.

For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.

Those who are followers of worthless idols
Abandon their faithfulness,

Therefore the Law has become our guardian to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

We urge you, brothers and sisters, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.

For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, fear God.
