Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Timothy Keller.

“Idols distort not only our thinking, but also our feelings.”

⁸ Those who are followers of worthless idols
Abandon their faithfulness,

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for being the one and only Living God and for calling us to be part of Your kingdom. Praise Your Holy Spirit for convicting us when we turn to idols for comfort that only You can provide. Increase our faith and help our unbelief showing us the gap between our knowledge, which is yet another gift from above, and our belief which is hidden deep inside our hearts. Guide us to a more consistent alignment between our minds and hearts and may they both be set entirely on You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
