You Have Been Prayed For… MATTHEW 6:14

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Timothy Keller.

“When people say, “I know God forgives me, but I can’t forgive myself,” they mean that they have failed an idol, whose approval is more important to them than God’s.”

Matthew 6:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for teaching us that it is our pride that limits our ability to forgive ourselves. Praise You for always forgiving our repentant hearts and for both hearing and answering our prayers when Your Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin. Our prayer this morning is to help us forgive others as much as You have forgiven us. Give us the eyes to see them as You do. Grant us the compassion and kindness of Your perfect nature in all our dealings. And may each time others see Jesus work in and through us, that all honor and glory result in a hallelujah to You our Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. What a timely lesson and prayer as I have been tormented the last few days regarding the pain and financial suffering brought on to me by some individuals last year 🙏
