¹⁰ For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for encouraging Ezra to study, practice, and teach Your Word and for recording this example of discipleship for the world to read, and for protecting it over these many years for us Your children. Praise the truth we find in You that provides life and hope. Thank You for caring about us and providing us with wonderful pastors who continue to feed and care for Your people. Give us ears to hear and eyes to see all You have prepared for us. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
