Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“There is no cry so good as that which comes from the bottom of the mountain; no prayer half so hearty as that which comes up from the depths of the soul, through deep trials and afflictions.”
James 1:12
New American Standard Bible 1995
12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for the discipline that leads to a humble heart. Thank You for using trials to bring us closer to You and for taking us through the low times which challenge us and conform us to the image of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Empower us when we are weak so Your strength can make us strong and Your light can be clearly seen. Please replace our pride with humility so we can avoid more trials and spend more time rejoicing in Your perfect love. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
