Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles R. Swindoll.
“To engage in unbridled immorality is to trade in our freedom of righteousness for shackles of lust.”
1 Corinthians 10:23
New American Standard Bible 1995
23 All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for the freedom we have in You and for the warnings to not take these freedoms as a license to feed our fleshly desires. Praise the wisdom and understanding we gain by leaning on You and acknowledging You in all our ways so we can discern what is profitable in our pursuit of holiness. Guide us in ways that edify Your church and glorify You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
