¹¹ My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for lovingly correcting our misdeeds and evil acts. Your servant gladly thanks You for a broken leg if it leads to saving a soul. Help us to see our circumstances as acts of Your love and mercy when all we have a claim to is the judgment for our sins. Praise You, for getting our attention and convicting our spirits to turn back to the only Living God. Help us not to despise the chastening, but to rejoice in the love that compels You to act on our behalf. In Jesus’ name, amen.
