You Have Been Prayed For… 2 PETER 1:10

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today you get more from Oswald Chambers.

“Am I getting nobler, better, more helpful, more humble, as I get older? Am I exhibiting the life that men take knowledge of as having been with Jesus, or am I getting more self-assertive, more deliberately determined to have my own way? It is a great thing to tell yourself the truth.” – The Place of Help

2 Peter 1:10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;

Lord Jesus, Your servant prays for an increase in humility, helpfulness, and selflessness.  Help Your servant with diligent and focused motives to love.  Bless You, Jesus, for showing us what that looks like.  Be our strength and shield to ensure victory in our good works.  Shine so bright we cannot help but be drawn to You.  Help us teach Your word to our children so they can experience pure love.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. When I attempt to walk while focusing on myself and staring in the mirror, I seem to stumble on the smallest objects. Jesus, please strengthen me through your Spirit, so I need not face plant again to soften my hard heart. Thank you brother, I can be a slow learner at times.
