¹¹ But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for providing us legs and feet so we can flee from evil. We desperately want to run this race without encountering danger on the path, but we know we will have to face the fallen world, our sin-filled flesh, and the devil along the way. It is only by the power You provide us that we can discern and escape them. Thank You for sending us Jesus and the Holy Spirit to do for us what we could not do for ourselves. Please gives us eyes to see the evil coming and the hearts to love You more than any temptations that try to take our focus off of You. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
