Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Brother Lawrence.

“When the soul is at rest in God it does not follow its usual selfish behavior; its love is only for God.”

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless Your lovingkindness and tender mercies. Praise You, for loving us and showings us that love is not something to be earned. Thank You, for showing us it is better to be gentle and meek rather than looking to serve ourselves at the expense of others. Thank You, for not allowing other gods to satisfy our deepest desires or bring us lasting peace. Help us all find true rest in You. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
