Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Merlin Carothers.

“Righteousness and uprightness are conditions for true praise, but we can never achieve them on our own. They are God’s generous gift to a repentant heart.”

⁷ I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for giving the only gifts that result in life and freedom. Praise all that You do. Help us, Your children, to lean into the life-saving grace that provides a path of true praise for Your lovingkindness. Your love for us is life-saving. Thank You, for replacing our hearts of stone, making it possible for us to repent. Thank You, for opening our eyes to our fallen and powerless past that led to a rebirth; one of Spirit that leads to eternal life with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
