Assignment:  Write a prayer thanking Jesus for His heart of humility and service.  Ask God to give you a heart like His.

Lord Jesus, our perfect Savior.  Thank You for Your heart and pure love.  For showing us how to serve and prompting Your saints to record it for our benefit.  Please Lord, grant your servant such a heart.  Give eyes to see and a soft heart full of compassion.  Slow Your servants’ reactions and emotions and set a path leading to true love.  A love of service and action, not mere words.  All to the glory of King Jehovah, in Jesus’ name, amen.
