Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. The thought this morning is Discipleship. Last night was the kick off to a new group I have the honor and opportunity to be a part of. (The group is called Rooted and I have another post specific to this new adventure .) The question was raised last night by my brother Neil: “What is the difference between being a believer and being a disciple”?
I really like the question and the group provided some great replies, but I will leave that question to all of you to play with today as we head out into the Lord’s glory. Please invite God into your day and ask Him to show up, if you seek, you will find.
Revelation 4:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”
Heavenly Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through and by Your Son Jesus Your servant prays. You alone are worthy and for this, we lift our praises to You. Bless You, for the gift of grace. Bless You, for purchasing damaged goods and looking beyond the visible. Your servant prays for all of Your children today, that we would see as You see and love as You love. Use us and provide the opportunity for us to do good to further Your plan. Help us to wait on You Lord, with unwavering faith and devotion. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Amen!
