The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

But now, I pray, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared

In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the [a]sound doctrine which you have been following.

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things

“The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples,

Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

“Has the Lord as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.”

My Lord God,
I have no idea where I am going.

“If I only touch His garment, I will get well.”
