You Have Been Prayed For… JOB 23:12

Grace and peace to all of you, in Christ Jesus. This marks the second morning of our corporate fast at Calvary Jupiter, our Lords bride, and I am feeling the fruits of the Spirit so far. I’ve experienced joy, self-control, and faithfulness. I am still working on and praying for the remaining fruit to honor Him. Best day to all of you and know you are all in my prayers.

Job 23:12 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

12 “I have not departed from the command of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth [a]more than my [b]necessary food.

Abba, You alone are Lord and are so worthy and deserving of our praise and worship. Please forgive us our missteps, set our paths straight. I pray we lean on Your understanding in order to keep from troubles. Thank You God for Your Word, I pray we would all seek You out and verbally invite You into our days and into our hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… LEVITICUS 25:17

Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus! The fast at Calvary Jupiter, FL came to completion last night after a great hour of worship and corporate prayer. Our hearts and souls were certainly moved, one vocalist to the point of almost not being able to sing due to the heaviness and gravity of all our Lord Jesus has done for us. It was a very tender moment. I certainly hope all that were part of this found it a valuable time of drawing nearer to God. For all my other wonderful faith family and friends I offer up prayer that you might consider a 24 hour fast to start, but a fast done with right reasons. Be quiet and wait on Him, oh the wonders He will expose.

Leviticus 25:17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 So you shall not wrong one another, but you shall [a]fear your God; for I am the Lord your God.

Abba, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, may I never grow weary of coming before You to express my gratitude and to show You my heart.  Hallelujah Lord for what You are doing in Your church and in our hearts.  I confess of momentary wrong thinking and selfishness through this past fast my God, but I felt Your refreshing and filling of my spirit which was more than adequate.  Father God, I pray for my faith family this morning with a happy heart, that You would bless us richly.  I pray that we would do our part by seeking the truth.  Lord Jesus, please soften our hearts and remove the hardness so the right desires can come forth and our work can bear much fruit for your Kingdom.  In Jesus’s Name, amen.

A special gift:

Much of the misery in our Christian life comes not because the devil tackles us, but because we have never understood the simple laws of our make-up. We have to treat the body as the servant of Jesus Christ: when the body says “Sit,” and He says “Go,” go! When the body says “Eat,” and He says “Fast,” fast! When the body says “Yawn,” and He says “Pray,” pray! Biblical Ethics, 107 R

Rooted Discipleship Prayer: The Journey Begins

Grace and peace to you my faith family.  I am excited to announce the launch of a Discipleship group at Calvary Jupiter.  Church leadership landed on this program called Rooted.  It looks like a great way forward in growing our discipleship skills and establishing stronger faith.  I would ask any of your that pray to lift this up to our Lord Jesus for His hand to be on this group.  That the leaders (which I am one) would not allow pride or ego into this group but we would serve and love each other with grace.  Discipleship is not a stroll to Sunday services, but a much greater demand on how one lives their life.  It is a life for Jesus.

Abba, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, I come before You in prayer to give you all the glory and honor You are due.  Your greatness captivates my soul.  I offer this prayer to You my God with a spirit of thanksgiving and gratitude for all You have done for me.  I am once again in a time of need for Your wisdom and understanding.  Please bless this group and bless Your church.  I desire to follow Your prompting and exhibit Your love as I co-lead this group to a closer and deeper relationship with You.  May all we do honor You and may we give You the glory for it all.  In Jesus’ Name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… MARK 9:29

Grace and peace to you all in Jesus Christ.  Our third and final morning of the Calvary Jupiter corporate fast.  It has been a time of reflection, prayer, praises for the answers, and of course a little bit of belly grumbling.  I was referring to it as prompting by the Holy Spirit to pray some more.  I will be seeking strength this 3rd day as there is much speaking and instructing ahead of me.  When I am weak, HE is strong!

Mark 9:29 Young’s Literal Translation (YLT)

29 And He said to them, `This kind is able to come forth with nothing except with prayer and fasting.’

Lord Jesus, Your wonders are unfathomable and Your miracles cannot be counted.  I confess of my selfish thinking these past few days and humbly ask You to cleanse me of this once again.  I pray that this final day of fasting and focusing on all the great things You have done for me would be fruitful and pleasing to You.  I pray for blessings on the church, our leaders, the flocks, and Israel.  Lord God, please continue to mature us away from sin and into Your Righteousness in the Holy Name of Jesus, amen.

Prayers From The Past…Hosea 14:9

Hosea 14:9 (NASB)

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
Whoever is discerning, let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
And the righteous will walk in them,
But transgressors will stumble in them.

As a quick reference to save you the need to track down the “them” that is being referred to here; idols and the worship of them is what we are called to be wise about.

Holy Spirit, please help us to understand what we encounter and provide us the discernment we need to make the righteous decisions to bring glory to You. I pray we seek out the truth and with Your help we find it. In Jesus’ name, amen 🙏🏼

You Have Been Prayed For… MATTHEW 4:4

Grace and peace to all of you through Jesus Christ our savior. Happy Monday! And to my Calvary family, day 1 and morning 1 of our corporate fast. I always enjoy a fast as it exposes my true character and trust in the Lord.  I’m not saying this is true for everyone as we all have different ailments and we certainly have different desires in our hearts. If a fast is one of vanity (I’ve been guilty of this) it will not bear the Spiritual fruit. Sure you could lose some weight, but we need to lose sin, not weight. May this be a time of deeper relationships with God for those of you that join in. For all my other faith family, you are invited to fast with us from afar, we will break this fast Wednesday night if you would like to plan the same.

Matthew 4:4 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’(DEUT. 8:3) ”

Lord Jesus, You are so worthy of all our praise and love. Thank You for providing all we need. I pray that You would be with us as we fast and pray, that we would come quietly before You to listen and hear what it is we have been missing or avoiding. I pray for Your strength to be with us this day so that we may boast about You and praise Your name in the streets. Lord God, as we get hungry may You please remind us of Your Word and relieve those pangs as we turn to You for all our needs. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… GENESIS 49:25

Grace and peace to you all in Christ Jesus!  I am so excited to get to church this morning. I get the privilege of helping set up and make coffee with my brothers Mark, George, and let us not forget the bagel man, Captain Frank!  Thank You, Jesus, for these gifts and opportunities.  If you are not in a church, might I strongly suggest you pray on that and get connected to His bride and family?  If you are part of one of His churches, I strongly urge you to attend each week if you are not currently.  And my last desire, get involved in His church.  Look for ways to serve and give back a little of what He gave you.

Genesis 49:25 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

25 From the God of your father who helps you,
And by the Almighty who blesses you
With blessings of heaven above,
Blessings of the deep that lies beneath,
Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

Abba, IAM, Almighty God, praise You for Your greatness, lovingkindness, and abundant blessings. I offer my prayers for my loved ones and theirs this morning with much gratitude and hope for the help and blessings You provide and the blessings still to come. I pray that we, Your children, will be so refreshed today that our worship of You would bring You great joy. Use us today as Your agents. Place in us a heart so soft and a sense of peace so secure that evil cannot find us. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… EXODUS 32:29

I count waking up in Jesus centered joy as such a blessing and gift.  I truly hope that all of you, my faith family, experience this as well.  It is not every morning that I awake into His peace, but even when I do not I count it a blessing as it is a reminder to me to draw near to Him.  I am so thankful for any and all of you that read my prayers and encourage my growth in the Lord.  It is my greatest desire that God captures a few more hearts and souls before I am with Him.

Exodus 32:29 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

29 Then Moses said, “[a]Dedicate yourselves today to the Lord—for every man has been against his son and against his brother—in order that He may bestow a blessing upon you today.”

Abba, Father, I pray my dedication to You is acceptable and pleasing.  I thank you for this gift of renewing my mind with Your Word.  I am grateful for such a blessed life that You have taken personal interest in.  Jesus, hear us today and we raise our Hallelujahs and prayers to you.  I pray that you bestow a blessing of abundance and peace today to those in need.  I pray for health and healing to all that are in need of You, our great Physician.  I humbly lift these prayers to You Abba, in Jesus’ name, amen.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NASB)

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Holy Spirit, Wonderful Comforter. Praises and many thanks to You. I pray that You would show us our hearts and soften them as needed so our ways would be replaced with Your ways.
