Grace and peace to you all in Christ Jesus. I confess that I struggle with the never satisfied eyes, and possibly a never satisfied heart. While I know all I need and more has already been freely given, my Sin nature and desires of the flesh always crave more. All of this plays a big part in this blogs tagline of Galatians 5:16, as it is a go to for when I am feeling tempted. I lean on Hebrews 2:18 and of course 2 Corinthians 10:5. I did not add those verses here on purpose in hopes of those that do not know might seek truth on their own. As our beloved Pastor Dan says many times “Don’t take my word on the matter, look it up for yourself.” Let us all take some inventory of all the things we can be satisfied for today and give Him the thanks for it all.
Proverbs 27:20New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, Nor are the eyes of man ever satisfied.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for and praise You for all the wonderful things You provide for us. I pray that we would be satisfied and feel the completeness of life in You. Please guide our hearts and our steps towards what is good and pure and away from our selfish desires. May we all remember that we are not our own. In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
Am I getting nobler, better, more helpful, more humble, as I get older? Am I exhibiting the life that men take knowledge of as having been with Jesus, or am I getting more self-assertive, more deliberately determined to have my own way? It is a great thing to tell yourself the truth.

Good morning faith family. Prayers were lifted and hallelujah’s raised to our Almighty God for another chance to obey and go forth with His Gospel. I want to express my gratitude for all of you and your supportive prayers. Being able to pray for all of you is such a gift and I am glad to be able to return that favor when I am in need allowing you to give as well. I am so thankful for the opportunity to do good, especially to those of the household of faith. May we all be used today in big ways to spread His joy.
2 Chronicles 20:9New American Standard Bible (NASB)
9 ‘Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your name is in this house) and cry to You in our distress, and You will hear and deliver us.’
Abba, King Jehovah, You are my shield and my strength. I find myself this morning battling the lies my Lord, so I call to You and seek Your truth. I pray that Your Word and promises would be on my heart and mind this day, and that with Your power I can remove any foothold the evil one has on me. I pray for all Your children to be well protected in the full suit of Your armor as we go forth into the midst of wolves. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Good morning my faith family. I want to extend my most sincere thanks for all your prayers for my son. For those that I didn’t raise the flag to, apologies and I know you would have prayed, but I was a bit frantic if I’m honest. However, the Lord saw me through the trial and provided the strength and proper focus and I can honestly say I did not waiver in my faith. If anything, that alone is a victory, BUT our God is so great He blessed a successful surgery for His son and mine. Again, thank you for the prayers. Comment here or send me a message or call if you are in need. Prayer is the answer…EVERYTIME!
1 Corinthians 2:12New American Standard Bible (NASB)
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,
Lord Jesus, thank You for sealing us and sending into us The Holy Spirit. I pray with thanksgiving for all my loved ones and their family’s. Protect us and continue to provide the most wonderful gifts and miracles in our lives so we can raise our voices to give You the honor and glory. Thank you Jesus for Your faithful servants that came to my aid and thank You for both hearing and acting on those prayers. May we never grow weary as we keep our eyes located firmly on You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Grace and peace to you all in Christ Jesus. I want to express gratitude and thanksgiving for such a wonderful Lord’s day yesterday. From another guest vocalist that more than delivered to a great study of Acts 21 and all the fruit that resulted from drawing nearer to God. I would like to present the thought of the day to be about FOCUS. I encourage all of us to pray and meditate about what it is we think most about, our focus, and if it is not a focus on Him, can you confidently answer why?
Galatians 2:20New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Lord Jesus, hear our prayers. We thank You and praise You for everything You do for us. Thank You for giving Yourself up for us and providing the examples of what it means to love and to give and to serve. I pray that we, Your co-heirs to eternity, would maintain the proper focus as we take the gift of this day and open ourselves to be used in Your Way not our way. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Best day to all of you on this Lord’s day. I sure hope everyone is both going to a service today and excited to worship, fellowship, and draw nearer to Him. I’m personally over the moon to get back into Acts and to hear from our wonderful Pastor Dan Plourde. My prayers are with all of you and may God use and bless us all.
Acts 22:16New American Standard Bible (NASB)
16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’
Lord Jesus, honor and glory abound in Your most glorious Name. Please except our adoration this day as we offer our prayers through Your Holy Name. Please cleanse our sins once more and prepare our hearts for a level of love we cannot fathom. I pray that You would help us to maintain the right focus and provide the opportunities to grow in You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
You have been prayed for ❤️🙏🏼 (originally prayed Thursday Dec. 12th, 2019)
Acts 20:35 (NASB)
In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Lord Jesus, thanksgiving and blessings for another day to grow closer to You and to my fellow man. I pray that we would all keep this truth close to heart as we celebrate this Christmas season. Let us look on the weak or the poor with Your eyes Lord and may we express love as we help and assist them to fullness and knowledge of You. In Jesus’ name, amen 🙏🏼
Welcome to the gift of this new Saturday my forever family. I never grow tired of seeing Our God at work. My soul rejoices with every blink of my eyes as they reveal His flawless design. In what ways can we begin to slow down to enjoy all that Our Father has made for us? How can we experience more of Him and less of us? Because come on, He is so much more interesting.
Numbers 14:17New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 But now, I pray, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared,
Abba, Our Good Good Father, hear our prayers. We thank and adore You and Your great power. I offer praise today my God for what You are doing in our lives. For the amazing things going on in Your Church. Prepare our hearts Lord as we go out into Your day. Use us and provide us opportunity to serve and show others love with more than mere words. In Jesus’s Name, amen.
Hallelujah my faith family, for the Lord has given us a new day. Today I would like to reflect on anger. While at times there is a really good reason for anger, I find that more often it is selfishness cloaked as anger. When I take my feelings before the Lord and ask for His truth and wisdom, I realize I was being self-focused. I realize some readers here are from various cultures, so please realize I’m speaking from my experience within a US-based culture. My anger is generally rooted in selfishness because I have been so blessed with so much and easily take it for granted, but many times anger is warranted as displayed by Jesus Himself. My prayers are for all of you today that struggle with anger or resentment. And for all my brothers and sisters that are free from this specific bondage, I raise yet another Hallelujah to our chain breaker, Jesus Christ.
Jonah 4:4New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 The Lord said, “Do you have good reason to be angry?”
Abba, I confess, I do not have a good reason. I pray humbly before You for Your help to move past any anger in our hearts. I pray with Your Words to Ezekiel that you “remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh” (Ezek. 11:19 NASB). Please help us to get out of our own way and get into alignment with Your Way. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
