You have been prayed for ❤️🙏🏼 (originally prayed Sunday, Sept 8th, 2019)
2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ
1 Thessalonians 5:11
11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up
Lord Jesus, I pray you continue to provide opportunities for us, your children, to serve You. I thank you for the wisdom You provide that the best medicine for our hurts is the helping of others with their hurts. Please use us today for Your Glory. In your Holy Name I pray. Amen
Since about summer of 2019, I have been committed, to the best of my ability, to pray and send a text to my loved ones. This was all prompted by messages I was receiving from a brother (if you are not sure who, ask me and I will share 1:1) each morning nice and early. To know someone thought enough about me to text me each morning with a note that I had been prayed for made my day (whether it was true or not) and I was determined to pay that forward. This “prayers from the past” series will be older prayers I am pulling, one at a time, from text history with a brother I have been sending these to since the beginning. I pray it may bless me to review them and read what the Holy Spirit wanted to say through me.
You have been prayed for ❤️🙏🏼 (originally prayed Saturday, Nov. 16th, 2019)
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.
Hallelujah for another new day and gift, I pray we do not waste it. Lord, I pray that You restore us all to joy so we can focus on Your will and be used for Your glory. In the name of Jesus, amen 🙏🏼
Grace and peace to you my brothers and sisters for this Friday, which has been gifted to us by God. I am thankful for all of you and most of all for HIM.
Deuteronomy 8:18New American Standard Bible (NASB)
18 But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Hallelujah! Lord God, May my prayer be like sweet incense to You this early morning. May the words of my mouth bring You joy. I pray with a spirit of thanksgiving that You are my first thought when I awake. I pray that we would never forget where our good gifts come from and that we would remember You Lord God in all our affairs. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Good morning, day, or evening my faithful brothers and sisters. May we never grow complacent and may your wonders never fail to amaze and astonish. This morning as I walked praying for all of you and your families I realized what a gift that is in itself. To be able to direct all my attention on love as I speak with my Creator is impossible to truly payback, but try I must. Thank You, God, for blessing me so richly. Thank all of you for gifting me with your friendship and support. I will leave you with this before my prayer:
William J. Toms “Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some person ever reads.”
Genesis 33:11New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Please take my [a]gift which has been brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me and because I have [b]plenty.” Thus he urged him and he took it.
Abba, my Heavenly Father, the giver of life and every perfect gift. May I never grow tired of thanking You for the gift of waking each morning, my first thought being trained to acknowledge and praise You for this lovingkindness. I pray that we, Your children, would graciously give what we so freely received. That our gifting and giving would allow others to see Jesus in us. That they would be well received and directed by Your hand. I pray that we do this, not for us, and not for them, but always and forever for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Originally, the intent of reviving this blog was to be solely for daily prayers for all my loved ones and their loved ones. However, during a prayer walk, an overflowing of the Holy Spirit filled me with more joy than I have felt in years. This, right out of the blue as I am reviewing Proverbs on my scripture study cards.
The experience immediately brought even more of His Word to mind that I have been studying for the last 6 months. Here are but a few of the verses that came, flooding my mind, resulting in God based joy;
Job 23:12“I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. NASB
Psalm 119:11Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You. NASB
Jeremiah 15:16Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart… NASB
Matthew 4:4 …“It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every wordthat proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ NASB
and so many more.
This experience is not something that I feel every day or even every week. But when I feel this overflowing, I am now committed to recording them and sharing them in the hopes of encouraging others to invest in their relationship with Jesus and bind His Word around their necks and deep within their hearts.
As a final thought…
I encourage you all to remember at least one new verse of scripture each week. Replace old thoughts that do not serve with His Word that always serves, and call on Him when in need. Always for His glory.
Good morning God and thank You for another opportunity to share Your Good News. My brothers and sisters, may this message find you well and may your day be abundantly blessed in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Exodus 22:28New American Standard Bible (NASB)
28 “You shall not [a]curse God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
Heavenly Father, hear Your servant and search my heart. Know that You alone are my lamp and that only You are my Lord. I pray this day that I, along with my brother and sisters, would bless and not curse. May it start now with a Hallelujah in Jesus’ name. May our leaders and all leaders be blessed with an obedient heart and a desire for peace. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
Good day to you all my faith family. May God bless you all richly and may this daily prayer and message encourage you to bless your family. Bless your children and remind them of how wonderful they are. Bless your spouse and build him/her up. And most of all, bless the giver of all these wonders and more, our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Grace and peace to us all.
Genesis 19:7New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 …, “Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.
Jehovah, my Heavenly Father, I lift Your name on high as I’m filled with joy as You continue to give and bless us. I pray this morning that my brother, sister, and I would stay far from evil and that You will protect us from wickedness. Guide us to perfect love and use us for Your glory. May Your light guide our paths and Your Spirit provide the wisdom and courage to claim victory in Your glorious name. It is through Jesus I pray, amen.
Brother and sisters, I hope you are as excited as I am to go forth into His world and share the Good News. May His grace and peace be with us all until His return.
Genesis 9:7New American Standard Bible (NASB)
7 “As for you, be fruitful and multiply; [a]Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.”
Abba, my creator and sustainer, thank You for caring so much about us. Thank You for sacrificing Your beloved Son for us and blessing us abundantly. I pray that we would not be blind to all You have done for us. I pray that we would take full advantage of the blessing You lay before Noah to be fruitful and claim it as adopted children of Your Kingdom, that we would not miss our chances to bring You joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
A blessed and joyful day to you all this first Lord’s day of 2020. May we all go out with a spirit of worship, pleasing and acceptable to our Father. May our paths be straight and our hearts pure.
Genesis 2:3New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created [a]and made.
Heavenly Father, You alone Lord deserve all the glory and our thanksgiving. Thank You for both making this day and blessing it. May we extend this blessing to all we encounter and share Jesus’ life-saving Gospel with grace and love. I pray that we would offer up a worthy worship this Lord’s day and all the days to follow. In Jesus’ name, amen.
