You Have Been Prayed For… ROMANS 5:8

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Arthur W. Pink.

“The better we are acquainted with His love – its character, fullness, blessedness – the more will our hearts be drawn out in love to Him.”

Romans 5:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for making it possible for us, Your creation, to have a intimate relationship with You. Thank You for the many demonstrations of Your love for us and especially for saving us while we were dead in our sins. Praise You, for the faithful love that nothing can separate us from You. Lead us in loving others in this way to prove the overwhelming power of Your grace, mercy, and love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… JOB 2:10

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Arthur W. Pink.

“Faithfulness demands that we speak as plainly about hell as about heaven.”

Job 2:10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

10 But he said to her, “You are speaking as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we actually accept good from God but not accept adversity?” Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for giving Your saints a spirit of boldness to speak plainly and confidently about what You have revealed. Praise You for blessing us with Your wisdom and understanding that gives us our hope. Help our unbelief and increase our faith so we can give a defense to anyone that may ask us for this hope we have in You. Let us not ignore the dangers of hell ensuring we do not backslide into the old life we have laid down for newness of life in and through Jesus Christ, in whose Holy name we pray, amen.

Nehemiah 1:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

I said, “Please, Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and faithfulness for those who love Him and keep His commandments:

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for the law that exposes our sins and for setting the standard that leads to our expression of love for You. Praise You for the freedom from the law of sin by Your great sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary. Hallelujah for the victory You claimed over death. Place deep within our hearts the desire to do Your will and to be glad in it. Guide us in our walks with the Holy Spirit so we will not submit to the flesh and become children of disobedience. Thank You for the clarity in what You said to Your disciples; “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments…” Help us show You our love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Praise You for searching our deceitful and anxious hearts and for the conviction that leads us back to the Way. Help us as we renew our minds daily and repent of our old selves in our pursuit of new life in spirit and truth. Teach us and lead us into Your peace by the abundant grace of Your perfect nature. For providing us Your armor that protects us from the spiritual attacks that damage our precious souls. You Have Been Prayed For… ROMANS 12:6-8

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Saint Augustine.

“How can it happen that a skill which I love in another I would hate in myself, since otherwise I would not detest and reject it: and yet both of us are human.”

Romans 12:6-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

However, since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them properly: if prophecy, in proportion to one’s faith; if service, in the act of serving; or the one who teaches, in the act of teaching; or the one who exhorts, in the work of exhortation; the one who gives, with generosity; the one who is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for giving such wonderful gifts to all Your children. Praise You for the way others skills and gifts help to bring out the best in each of us. Thank You for the unity of Christian community that allows us all to take advantage of these gifts and to use the ones given to us for Your glory. Please continue to refine our use of these gifts as serving others with them leads to rejoicing in You, the giver of them. May all our boasting be in You alone as we display these skills to the world. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… PROVERBS 19:2

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.

“There are none so easily nor so frequently taken in Satan’s snares as ignorant souls.”

Proverbs 19:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

Also it is not good for a soul to be without knowledge,
And he sins who hastens with his feet.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for teaching and leading Your children in the Truth. We adore Your perfect nature of faithfulness, goodness, and lovingkindness that produces wisdom and knowledge for our souls. Thank You for revealing Yourself to mankind and exposing the snares of Satan so we can walk on Your holy highway towards the narrow gate. Place desire in every heart to seek truth fervently so more souls come to knowledge than fall prey to Satan’s devices of tripping the ignorant into the pit of hell, that wretched place full of sin and darkness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… 2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this question from Saint Augustine.

“Without You, what am I to myself but a guide to my own self-destruction?”

2 Timothy 4:3-4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for sending Truth itself, Your Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of Your elect. Thank You, for choosing us to be set apart so we do not fall into the trappings of the current time. Continue to teach us and lead us in Truth and protect our ears and minds from falsehood and fallacy. Use us to minister to any that will hear the glorious gospel of grace and accept the Word and be saved. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… LUKE 18:27

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Arthur W. Pink.

“That an infant can live at all, and for so many month, in such cramped and filthy quarters, and that without breathing, is unaccountable without the power of God.”

Luke 18:27 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

27 But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for Your glorious miracles and wonderful works that make life both possible and pleasurable. Praise those that place their hope upon Jesus Christ and acknowledge the power in His name. Continue to correct and perfect us according to Your perfect and sovereign will that leads lost souls to eternal life with You in heaven. Grant us opportunities to tell others of the work You have done in our lives and may the songs we sing in praise for the name above all names bring gladness to all that hear. In Jesus’ name, amen.
