You Have Been Prayed For… JOHN 3:3

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from C. S. Lewis.

“It is no use trying to see through first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To see through all things is the same as not to see.”

John 3:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for this glorious day and all the opportunities that await us. Your servant prays that all Your children would grow in faith today and that it would result in new desires and a burning hot passion for seeking the kingdom of heaven. Thank You, for making it possible to be born again so we can see and experience Your kingdom and perfect love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… 3 JOHN 11

“People who do not read the Bible for themselves or listen to the preaching of the word of God can see the lives of those who do, and can form their judgment accordingly.

3 John 11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does what is good is of God; the one who does what is evil has not seen God.

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your servant praises You.  Bless You and Your Word. Thank You, for changing hearts of stone to flesh so our desire for the truth would grow. Thank You, for providing us Words that heal and sustain us in our weariness. Your servant prays that we could lock those words in the chambers of our hearts so Your glory would be known to all. Grant us peace in this day as we gladly boast of the power and love of the King of Kings.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… ROMANS 1:21

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from F. F. Bruce.

“Wrong lines of conduct follow from wrong ideas about God.

Romans 1:21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for turning this senseless heart into one that has an understanding of who You are and what You have done for us. Please continue to work on all hearts until the world wakes up from the futile attempts at playing god. Your servant prays that You would open the eyes and the minds that are darkened, especially those who lead others into the traps and snares of evil.  Fill our hearts and souls with the truth so we can place our hope where it belongs. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… HOSEA 2:19

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dale Ralph Davis.

“How kind God is to lay down the cushions of His compassions amid the harshest of our circumstances.

Hosea 2:19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

19 I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice,
In favor and in compassion,

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for Your perfect compassion that brings us back to the only place we need to be, in Your presence. Thank You, for the lovingkindness You never grow weary of showing us in our times of trouble.  While Your servant finds plenty of moments to be overwhelming and uncomfortable, holding firm to Your promises and leaning into the grace that surpasses all fear and doubt allows us to rejoice no matter what the circumstances are. Please continue to lay down the cushions of compassion as we place all our hope in You alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You Have Been Prayed For… PSALM 32:5

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Herman Veldkamp.

“What distinguishes us from the world is not that we are less wicked but that by the grace of God we have learned to see our wickedness for what it is and that we confess our sins. The church is the only body that confesses sin. Where the confession on sin dies out, the church is no longer church.”

Psalm 32:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my guilt;
I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless Your church this day and continue to make possible a place for all to confess wrongdoing and guilt. Praise the only name that can forgive and cover us from such shame and judgment. Your servant knows too well the trappings and wages of sin and humbly repents and looks to the mighty hand of Jesus to cleanse the filth away leaving only righteousness behind.  Your servant acknowledges the sin that blinds the mind and would take us from Your living waters, but through faith, hope, and love, Your servant has all that is required to live in joy and peace. Maranatha! In Jesus’ name, amen.
