Praise Your faithfulness and love that defeats sin every time. Help us to lay down the old self and put on Christ as we allow You to perfect the good work that has been started in us. Lead us away from temptation so we can escape the wages of sin and experience Your gracious gifts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Guide our speech to always be delivered with love and covered with grace so we do not cause others to stumble. Show us how slowing down to think about using fewer words to make the bigger impact is more desirable than being long-winded in our rhetoric. Teach us to restrain our lips to show ourselves wise and obedient to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Help us to keep our eyes on You and not this world or ourselves. Remind us daily that the love of money is the root of all evil and it is futility to strive after it. Guide us in being helpful to our brothers and sisters and to seeking first the Kingdom of God. Show us our anxious thoughts and our deceitful hearts so we may be healed. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It grieves our hearts to see sin creeping upon those souls of our loved ones that suppress the truth for a lie. Please open more hearts, eyes, and ears to the life saving truth of the gospel of grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
