Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Curt Thompson.
“To be okay as a human is first and foremost about being connected to God and others. It is not ultimately about having enough information, skill, intelligence or experience. Neither is it about being youthful, svelte or ripped, nor having enough money, sex or power. And when doubt involves any of these, you can be confident that shame is the emotional feature that is deeply at work.”
Psalm 71:1

Prayer of an Old Man for Deliverance.
71 In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be ashamed.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for loving us in our fallen condition. To be honest, Lord, You love in times and places I simply cannot. Not without Your Holy Spirit tuning my heart to beat in unison with Yours. I desire and now plead to have a more willing spirit, a completely surrendered spirit that can delight in the Gospel and rejoice in the hardships that lead to peace. Keep me from any traps or snares that district and entangle me. Set my mind free and anchor my hope in the love and grace that only You provide.
Father, we thank You for having heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
