Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Curt Thompson.

15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. 

On this Sunday, which You have graciously made, my full focus and adoration should be locked on Your glory. But my spirit is not well and my heart cannot rejoice as I am not handling Your word without shame. Help me let go of any anger or pride that continues to destroy or damage the beauty of relationships rooted in Jesus. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit to consider Your words as I read them throughout this day, hoping to be overcome with gratitude and reverence towards Your most holy name.

Father, we thank You for having heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
