Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Warren Wiersbe.
“Prayer must be in the will of God, and the one praying must be abiding in the love of God.”
Matthew 6:9-13
New American Standard Bible 1995
9 “Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
‘Give us this day [a]our daily bread.
‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for teaching us how to pray. Praise Your holiness, which is beyond my comprehension. Guide me in my prayers and help me to slow down my tongue and speed up my ears to hear and my heart to feel compassion for others. I desire to abide in Your love but too often find worries and distractions taking me away from the peace of Your presence. Shame does not give up on me, but neither do You and thankfully You let us know who wins. Help me to stay in constant prayer and reliance on You.
Father, we thank You for having heard this prayer, and we say Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
