Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from R. C. Sproul.
“It is much easier and far less painful to criticize the Bible than to allow the Bible to criticize us.”
Hebrews 4:12
New American Standard Bible 1995
12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for providing us the much-needed criticism of ourselves as we compare to perfection of Your Word. Help us to receive Your grace and mercy. Teach us how to be compassionate to ourselves and others. Expose the folly and lies in our lives. I pray that my lips would only be used in rejoicing in You and never used to criticize You. Help me see pain as proof of Your faithfully working all things out for our good.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
