Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from R. C. Sproul.
“When we sin, we need to be reproved. When we err, we need to be corrected. When we are out of shape, we need to go into training. The Scriptures function as our chief reprover, our chief corrector, and our chief trainer.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
New American Standard Bible 1995
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Have mercy on me, a sinner. Praise Your Word that corrects and reproves my lack of obedience and teaches me how to walk in the light. Bless Your amazing grace and faithful kindness found on every page of Scripture. I pray that Your Word will have its perfect way with my heart and mind turning me into a useful laborer in Your fields. I pray that not a single day will ever pass without spending much time in Your holy Word so I will be equipped for whatever comes knowing that I am not alone and that I now have a new life in Jesus Christ. The glorious and victorious life we now have with You is a comfort that cannot be properly expressed, but we will never cease trying to give You all the glory and honor.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
