Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“More wealth brings more care, but more grace brings more joy.”
Nehemiah 8:10
New American Standard Bible 1995
10 Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Only Your grace can bring me joy. Only Your love and faithfulness can comfort me. Help me to not be grieved today as I set my mind and heart on You. Remind me often that my joy in You is my strength. Let my soul rejoice in the grace You provide us. Every meal and every breath comes from You and is pure grace. Help me keep this day holy unto You.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
