Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Martin Luther.
“Your brother does not cease to be your brother when he slips or because he offends you. Instead, that’s when he most needs you to show him your love.”
Matthew 5:23-24
New American Standard Bible 1995
23 Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for giving us family and fellowship that helps us grow in love and practice forgiveness. Thank You for not casting us out of Your hand when we slip and for teaching us to seek restoration for our offenses. Praise Your faithfulness in everything You do. Your holiness and light are overwhelmingly great. I pray that we would all take any bitterness and offendedness to You this morning, I ask that it be covered by Your grace and mercy, and help us to accept the freedom only Jesus provides.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
