Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Sin mourned and confessed, however black and foul, shall never shut a man out from the Lord Jesus.”
Psalm 32:5
New American Standard Bible 1995
5 I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I did not hide;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for covering our sins with the precious blood of Jesus. Thank You for the ability and desire to confess transgressions to You. While it is pointless to try and hide anything from You, I still struggle with trying to keep shameful things and sin in the dark. Praise Your grace and mercy that welcomes and invites us to lay all that down and allow Christ to live in us and through us. You promised to never leave us or forsake us, and I will hold firm to this promise in hopes of avoiding sins and transgression as I seek more of You.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
