You Have Been Prayed For… PROVERBS 24:30-31

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Rod Dreher.

“You can destroy as much by failing to build as by actively wrecking.”

Proverbs 24:30-31
New American Standard Bible 1995

30 I passed by the field of the sluggard
And by the vineyard of the man lacking sense,
31 And behold, it was completely overgrown with thistles;
Its surface was covered with nettles,
And its stone wall was broken down.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.

Bless You, for creating us. Thank You for providing the opportunities to be laborers for Your kingdom. I pray that this proverb will awaken me from my desire for comfort and encourage me to see that work is a gift and that I should be thankful for every chance afforded to me to do the work unto You. Help me not be lazy this day. Help me to build up and not tear down. I pray that my mouth would only rejoice in You and that no complaints or grumbling would be found in it. Grant us all the sense to know the work we have before us is a blessing.

Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
