Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“A sense of our own folly is a great step towards being wise, when it leads us to rely on the wisdom of the Lord.”
Ecclesiastes 10:10
New American Standard Bible 1995
10 If the axe is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength. Wisdom has the advantage of giving success.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless You, for using the law to reflect our foolishness and folly back on us sinners. We thank You for causing us such grief in our folly that we had to seek You for wisdom, understanding, and ultimately salvation. Only You can save us, and only Your love and grace make a way for us to find You. Help us to lean on You for all wisdom and provide us discretion as we walk in Your will on this most glorious day.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
