Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“In seasons of severe trial, the Christian has nothing on earth that he can trust to, and is therefore compelled to cast himself on his God alone.”
Matthew 4:4
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
Bless Your Word that always completes what it intends to complete. Praise You for giving us daily bread to satiate our hunger for You. Give us all eyes to see our great need for You and humble us to the point of casting all of our cares on Your capable shoulders. May our hearts be filled with all the promises You made and all the miracles You performed. Increase our trust in You and cause our faith to be deeply rooted in the works Jesus completed on our behalf.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
