⁴² They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. 

Your perfect timing and faithful love are worth waiting for, but Lord, we grow so impatient and weary. Praise Your Holy Spirit that empowers us to take to our knees in prayer and grown to You, our Abba in heaven. Bless You, for hearing every prayer and answering those aligned with Your will, and revealing Your glory and the love You have for us. Guard our hearts from ever becoming too relaxed with this devotion of prayer to You. Remind us of the great cost paid that made it possible to come into Your throne room of grace in our times of need. Make our knees strong and our faith sure as we eagerly wait for our prayers to be answered.

Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
