Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Warren Wiersbe.
“It takes humility and grace to serve others, but it also takes humility and grace to allow others to serve us.”
Romans 7:6
New American Standard Bible 1995
6 But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.
God of all grace, fill us with the desire to grow in humility and lead us by Your Spirit so we can become more like Jesus. Thank You for setting us free from the penalty of the law and giving us new life in the Spirit. Let these thoughts flood our minds and hearts today as we prepare to serve others and allow others to serve us. Help us to remember we are all part of one body in Jesus and that we cannot say to one another that we have no need for them. We need You, Lord, and we praise You for being our Good Shepherd.
Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
