Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Martin Luther.

“If God had no hell or did not punish the wicked, He would be loved and praised by all men.”

⁵ But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. 

Bless Your holiness and perfection in all that You are and do. I am grateful to be known and loved by You, the Creator of all. While at times I am in active rebellion and turn from You, I am always brought back, and You faithfully pull me under Your wings. I am not sure if it is fear of hell or grateful appreciation of Your grace that compels me to praise and worship You. Perhaps it is both. Regardless of my reasons, You are worthy to be praised and feared as Only You have the power to save or cast into hell.

Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
