Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Take care that your faith is of the right kind – that it is not mere belief of doctrine, but a simple faith, depending on Christ, and on Christ alone.”
Psalm 4:8
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for guiding us into all truth. Please help me to get the truth You have provided from my head to root itself deep within my heart. I am crying out to You for humility and a fully surrendered life and will. Praise You for always giving us what we need. May praise of You be always on my lips. Help me to see all of Your blessings in my life and lead me in rejoicing about them always. Grant us all peace as we lie down and sleep this evening knowing that in the new day, Your fresh mercies and grace abound. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
