Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“He who is not angry at transgression becomes a partaker in it. Sin is a loathsome and hateful thing, and no renewed heart can patiently endure it.”
Ephesians 4:26
New American Standard Bible 1995
26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for being angry with our sins and not with us. Help us to also be angry with the sin and not the sinners in our lives, knowing that we are guilty of the same offenses. Praise Your forgiveness that is ready to meet us when we repent from the wickedness and evil ways of our flesh. Thank You for empowering us by Your Holy Spirit to resist the flesh, the world, and the devil. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
