⁷ There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for using men of zeal to further Your kingdom and spread Your gospel. Praise Your zeal that accomplished freeing us from the law of sin and leads those You call into a life of victory in Jesus. Help our pride and selfishness to decrease and our zeal and obedience to increase. Keep us from offending You and others as we pursue holiness and righteousness. All honor belongs to You. Thank You for every talent, piece of knowledge, and ounce of zeal that brings us closer to You. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
