Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“For His sake, for our own sakes, and for the sakes of others, we must strive day by day to let our conversations be more in accordance with His gospel.”
Proverbs 4:24
New American Standard Bible 1995
24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth
And put devious speech far from you.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for creating desire in our reborn hearts to put the devious speech and deceitful mouth behind us. Praise the power of Your forgiveness for those times we fail to keep our speech seasoned with grace. Create a zeal for You and Your gospel deep within us so we can be successful in our mission of taking the life-saving message to the ends of the earth. Empower us to not simply talk the gospel truth, but to walk it as well. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
