Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles Swindoll.
“People who lack hope don’t need more knowledge; they need compassion.”
Matthew 9:36
New American Standard Bible 1995
36 Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for showering us with such rich compassion. Praise Your faithfulness in restoring us and conforming us into the image of our Lord Jesus. Help us to show the same level of compassion to those in need. Slow us down, open our ears, and control our tongues so we can be a light to those trapped in the darkness. We place our hope in You and pray that You will use our acts of compassion to reveal more of Yourself to those without hope. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
