Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Chip Dodd.
“Instead of facing truth, we seek counterfeit solutions, trying to avoid the neediness and vulnerability so often found with the truth.”
Psalm 135:16-17
New American Standard Bible 1995
16 They have mouths, but they do not speak;
They have eyes, but they do not see;
17 They have ears, but they do not hear,
Nor is there any breath at all in their mouths.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for putting Your breath in our lungs and for giving us Your Holy Spirit to guide our hearts toward You. Praise Your mouth that speaks only truth, Your eyes that are always watching out for us, and Your ears that are always attentive to our prayers. Thank You for supporting us in our vulnerability and our neediness. Help us to honestly and humbly accept our great need for You and one another. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
