Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Enough is not only as good as a feast, but is all that the greatest glutton can truly enjoy.”
New American Standard Bible 1995
2 And put a knife to your throat
If you are a man of great appetite.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for providing us surpassing riches in Christ so we have abundant life and not simply enough. Praise the Bread of Life that satisfies our gluttonous appetites and the Living Waters that quench our mightiest thirst. Thank You for inviting us to the heavenly feast as co-heirs with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Empower us to exercise the self-control required to avoid seeking the comforts of this world and to seek after You alone. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
