Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Let me be on guard when the world puts on a loving face, for it will, if possible, betray me as it did my Master with a kiss.”
Luke 22:48
New American Standard Bible 1995
48 But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for calling us into Your kingdom and allowing us to have a greater hope than what this fallen world can provide. Praise Your unstoppable love that flows even in the face of betrayal. Thank You for making a way for us sinners to be freed from the bondage of sin and death. Help us today to be on guard against all falsehood and world passions. Guide us on Your path of righteousness until Jesus returns to set all things right. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
