Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“There is a time appointed for weakness and sickness, when we shall have to glorify God by suffering, and not by earnest activity.”
Ecclesiastes 3:3
New American Standard Bible 1995
3 A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for being our Shepherd in all seasons of life. Thank You for comforting us when we are ill and weak. Praise You for supporting us in our suffering and guiding us into times of rest when we are too weary to pursue earnest activities. Please build us up when others tear us down. Help us lean on You and only on You as our source of wisdom, knowledge, and power. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
