Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Jerry Bridges.
“We will gain a true perspective of our own suffering when we realize how much more our persecuted brothers and sisters are going through.”
James 5:13
New American Standard Bible 1995
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for protecting us and keeping persecution far from us. Please provide peace and courage to our brothers and sisters who are having to deal with the persecution of our enemies. Empower them to hold fast and encourage us who can give and provide for those in need from a joy-filled heart. Guide us in supporting our family of faith over all Your creation. Praise You for giving us so many wonderful promises that keep us in hopeful anticipation of what is yet to come. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
