Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Now, contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated; it will not grow in us by nature; it is the new nature alone that can produce it, and even then we must be specially careful and watchful that we maintain and cultivate the grace which God has sown in us.”
Hebrews 13:5
New American Standard Bible 1995
5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for sowing Your seed of grace into our hearts. Praise You for teaching us contentment and helping us rest in Your promises. Thank You for never leaving us and for always being our Faithful and Holy God. Please use us this day to present Your glory to those we love as You love us. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
