Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles H. Spurgeon.
“Solitude has its charms and its benefits, and may be useful in checking the lust of the eye and the pride of life; but the devil will follow us into the most lovely retreats.”
Matthew 4:1
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for never leaving or forsaking us. Praise Your faithfulness in providing and protecting us each day against the snares of evil. Thank You for the tests that help us to grow more into the image of our Savior. Help us fight our battles and direct all our steps according to Your good purpose. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Thank you, Matthew.
For your thoughtfulness and time you put in each day for these teachings. We all appreciate what you do for us.
