Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Jerry Bridges.

“The cost to God of forgiving us cannot be measured by money; it is measured in the death of His Son on the cross to pay for our sins.”

² fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless Your overwhelming act of grace displayed in the cross of Christ. Praise and glory to You for authoring our faith and for the promise of perfecting that faith as we fix our eyes upon Your Son and our Lord Jesus. Help us to fully appreciate the cost that was paid for the sins of the world. May more souls be won by this amazing act of love and sacrifice that only You could pay. Keep us from being distracted from Your perfect love. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
