Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Jerry Bridges.
“People who are poor in spirit also see themselves as utterly dependent on God and His grace in their entire lives.”
New American Standard Bible 1995
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for being our All in every circumstance. Praise Your faithful blessings that satisfy our every dependency. Thank You for being our unending source of grace and the Redeemer of our souls. Grant us all eyes to see how needy we truly are for Your love. Open the ears and the hearts of our loved ones that stubbornly refuse to acknowledge and worship You. Help us to learn from Your Holy Spirit the true depths of our nature so we can humbly walk poorly in spirit, but rich in faith, hope, and love. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
