Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Philip Yancey.
“What blocks forgiveness is not God’s reticence, but ours. God’s arms are always extended; we are the ones who turn away.”
Daniel 9:9
New American Standard Bible 1995
9 To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him;
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for not withdrawing from us in our sinfulness and rebellion. Praise Your faithfulness and love that continues to pursue us in our darkest times. Thank You for pouring so much grace on us that opened our blinded eyes to Your compassion and forgiveness. Help us to run from sin and turn into Your loving extended arms to find what our hearts long for. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
