Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from John Stott.

²⁴ Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for providing us the perfect teaching, teacher, and example of discipleship in Christ Jesus. Praise You for empowering us through Your Holy Spirit to follow after our Savior. Thank You for putting the desire in our hearts to deny ourselves for Your glory. Help us to not serve You with lip service alone, but rather with a whole-heart service of action filled with joy in our Hope, Jesus Christ. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
