Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Martin Luther.
“… so that we will not exalt people because of their appearance, or trust in them, God leaves important people with offensive faults and sins, sometimes shocking faults, in order to show us the great difference there is between any one person and God.”
Isaiah 46:9
New American Standard Bible 1995
9 “Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless Your mercies and perfect love that You provide to us day after day. Praise Your unmeasurable greatness. Thank You for leaving faults in men so we do not follow after them but seek You and Your kingdom as our top priority. Keep us thirsty for Your Word and for Your love as without it we would have no hope or joy. Guide us in the ways of humility, compassion, and empathy as we walk along Your path of righteousness. There is truly no other like You. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. Amen in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
